Do I Stop the hCG Diet Drops During Menstruation?
Do I really have to stop the hCG diet drops during my period? Can I still use the bioenergetic hCG drops?
I am exploring why hCG drops need to be stopped whilst a woman is menstruating. Dr Simeons’ hCG protocol says clearly to stop the actual hCG hormone drops (not bioenergetic hCG & homoeopathic diet drops) during menstruation and to resume once bleeding stops.
As he is referring to and has research on the actual hormonal drops/injections and not our dietary drops, I believe it requires further research and thought. In Dr Simeons’ original writings “Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity” he never gave a reason why women should stop taking the hCG during their period. He did talk about how women, when stopping the hCG injections during menstruation would generally not feel the hunger whilst on the hCG dietary program.
I have read some interesting things as to why we should stop taking the hCG drops during a bleed, such as our progesterone level is high during menstruation…this is not true, progesterone has bottomed out with oestrogen at this time and often oestrogen is just that little bit higher in a women at this time but still they have a low level of hormone. Another point of view I have heard is the hCG drops can make periods heavier or stop, (actually oestrogen dominance can make periods heavier or more painful). I am not sure this is actually true either because a simple detoxification or the 500 calorie diet could stop an ovulation and make a women’s period heavier or not come at all. There are many variables on this issue and it would need to be explored further.
Given that the hormone progesterone and oestrogen are at a low level during a bleed, adding in a strong pharmaceutical presence such as hCG injections would possibly be creating something abnormal in the woman’s body. Therefore it wold be common sense not to take the injections at this time, yet still it would be interesting to know if the actual hormone did make a difference to the hormones during a woman bleed. We would need to do many hormone assays to find that out, which I am not aware of someone doing at this point. However bringing in a frequency remedy (bioenergetic non hormonal hCG dietary drops) would create a different response in the body, helping maintain a balance and producing the same result in a different way.
The science behind our frequency drops is completely different to the conventional model of medicine used today. Homoeopathics and frequency remedies have gained a lot of well deserved respect over the years for the clear results it provides on a deeply holistic level.
When it’s given in low doses you have a natural and safe form of medicine that allows you to burn off stubborn fat deposits that you’ve never really been able to get rid of before.
A lot of women on the hCG diet but definitely not all experience a slow down of weight loss during or prior to the menstrual bleed and then resume losing weight once the bleed has gone. We have heard this from many women time and time again. However what is interesting is that the women who have decided to do what they felt was right (aka an experiment!) have taken the drops during their bleed and their weight did not slow down as much as they thought it would, if at all. Some had already completed a previous round and saw the difference.
Some women didn’t feel comfortable stopping the bioenergetic hCG diet drops drops during the bleed and they found it didn’t make a difference to their overall cycle and they still lost the weight they wanted. Interesting.
If you remember I said the women who took the hCG drops seemed not to have as much of a stall as the ones who didn’t. This was only monitored in a small number of women but it is interesting to think that actually adding in the bioenergetic hCG dietary drops at the beginning of a woman’s bleed, may be indicated for these women to help bring balance and to achieve a more sustained weight loss.
Remember also that taking the injections, as Dr Simeons only used, is a strong pharmaceutical approach and I can understand why one would not want to take that form of hCG in a menstrual bleed, it would possibly (but I have not seen studies) bring a lot of imbalance to the body.
An energetic / homoeopathic formula is a gentler approach to achieve the same outcome and focuses on bringing more balance to the body at a very deep level.
What I can tell from the issue of people asking “should women stop taking bioenergetic hCG diet drops and homeopathic formula during their menstrual bleed” is that it may be an individual issue but mostly in our day and age we are finding so many women hormonally imbalanced that it actually might not be a problem at all to be taking through the bleed, it might help correct the imbalances.
Now remember these are my thoughts and opinions. I am a fertility teacher and naturopath who understands some of the science behind the hormonal patterns to some degree so I am having an educated and somewhat common sense approach to this discussion. I am open to discussion and moving forward.
I always think it is best to stay with Dr Simeons approach because it works well. There was a lot of effort put into the findings of Dr Simeons and it would be unwise to simply do away with what doesn’t suit us. However research must go on and empirical evidence is important.
