Why Gentle Exercise Will Explode Weight Loss on hCG Diet
Too often we build resistance to certain activities, including gentle exercise. This resistance eventually cements itself as the norm, because the thought of exercise seems impossible.
If the world’s strongest person stopped weight training for two years, then returned to the gym and attempted start at the level they finished at, they would fail.
Going too hard and too fast is why so many people fall at the first hurdle when returning to fitness.
There is a trend now for High Intensity Interval Training or HITT. The theory is that you work at your maximum pace for short intervals. To undertake this level of fitness training you need consider yourself to be at an intermediate fitness level. If you not you will go to one class, puff, pant, be embarrassed by the ‘hard bodies’ rocking it while you sweat and feel self-conscious. Don’t do it to yourself — at least not yet.
We encourage swimming and sun bathing during treatment, but it should be remembered that a severe sunburn always produces a temporary rise in weight, evidently due to water retention. The same may be seen when a patient gets a common cold during treatment.
Gentle exercise doesn’t mean buying thousands of dollars of sports equipment
The market for wearable tech is a billion dollar market. Included in this market are smart-watches, smart-glasses, and wristbands. Each piece of equipment is able to monitor health and statistics and solutions that work with applications on smartphones and tablets.
If you choose to purchase any form of fitness tracker, do so in the knowledge that the fitness tracker will not get you fit, but of course it will help you monitor your progress.
Ask yourself this: when you last went out for a walk, did you purchase special equipment? Most people unless marching out hundreds of kilometers a week or hiking will say no.
If you have running shoes they are good enough. If you have shorts they are good enough. Eliminate all excuses; don’t get hung up on thinking you need brand new kit before you start.
If you don’t have a comfortable pair of walking shoes of if you feel that you can progress to jogging then it is advisable to buy the correct footwear within your budget. The same is true of sports clothes, shop around see what you can find, but don’t let this hamper your getting started.

Moderate intensity low impact exercise is as effective as high intensity workout. High intensity workouts are not advised if:
- you’re pregnant
- you’ve injured your joints, bones or connective tissue
- you have chronic problems, such as arthritis, osteoporosis or stress fractures
- you’re very overweight
- you’re new to exercise
- you’re on Phase II of the hCG program
Once you get up and start walking you are exercising and combined with the hCG diet, you will lose weight healthily and your fitness levels will increase. When you fitness levels increase you can look at other forms of exercise such as:
- Swimming
- Cycling
- Yoga
- Aqua aerobics
- Dancing
Maybe you used to play a sport or enjoyed ballroom dancing; once you start to get fit through gentle exercise your desire to return to other activities will come back because your confidence is building. Maybe you put off swimming because you felt uncomfortable in your swimsuit. These fears will erode if you simply get out of the chair and make 30 minutes a day to go walking.
